QP Semi Expands Dual-Port SRAM Family QP7133 2K x 16

Long-Life Second Source for Military Low-Power SRAMs
The QP7133 Dual-Port SRAMs have been QML qualified by DSCC on SMDs 5962-88610 & 5962-88665
and are available to ship now. QP Semi re-engineered the 7133 to serve as a long-life second source for
military/aerospace applications.

Product Description & Applications

The QP7133 is a high-speed CMOS 2K x 16 asynchronous Dual-Port SRAM available in two versions : the standard power selection is the QP7133SA and the low power version is the QP7133LA. These products consume less than 20% of the power versus competing products

  • True dual-ported memory cells which allow simultaneous reads of the same memory location.
  • Dedicated separate controls and I/O sets for each Port, allowing independent reads & writes to any location
  • QP7133LA is low power- 10μW from a +2V (battery) source for data retention and typical standby current of 0.2mW
  • High Speed- read operation as fast as 35nS over the military temperature range
  • It’s QP Semi, so it’s full mil temp
  • Listed on SMDs 5962-88610 and 5962-88665
  • Ceramic Packages: 68 Pin Grid Array (PGA) & the 68 pin Ceramic Quad Flatpack (CQFP)
  • Dual-Port SRAMs are used in high-speed x16 applications where data is exchanged between
  • processors/systems.

Advantage

QP products consume less power under the most stringent operating conditions than the competitor’s parts. Up to 80% power savings in standby mode. Lower power consumption means a savings to the system power budget and longer board life.
