The Benchmark Division of Miyachi Unitek

Accelonix and Benchmark are very pleased to present to the market a completely new product range, based on mature build designs.  The equipment is fully featured to serve production with high performance reliability welding.
The Benchmark division was integrated into Miyachi Unitek in 2001, combining the world leading seam & projection manufacturer, with the world leading manufacturer of welding supplies.    Since then, and after relocation to California, the Benchmark Division has rebuilt a new dynamic development team and revitalized its equipment range.

Benchmark Applications Suppor:

In addition to Accelonix support, specific services are proposed by the Benchmark division of Miyachi Unitek to their worldwide customers.

Support process qualification on existing packages:

For new Benchmark customers, Miyachi offer a special service to help the qualification of the new system on existing packages.  It is Unitek Benchmark's intention that the new system be installed, certified ready for use, operators trained and the system fully operational as quickly as possible for production applications.

Support Sealing Process Development:

For all Benchmark clients, Benchmark offers experienced application engineers to support the optimization of new sealing applications.  Work is carried out in Miyachi applications lab, in consultation with the customer.  The customer is requested to provide samples, drawings, and cover tooling costs if needed. Depending on application loading in most cases, results in 2-3 weeks after fixture design. 

Design support for New Package development

Miyachi Unitek offers technical support for new package design and development.    The facility in Monrovia is has a fully equipped process laboratory for package development and processing of customer parts (equipment includes fine and gross leak testers, optical measuring equipment, cross-sectioning and polishing equipment).
